Pine Lane Updates

Principal Stairs

Pine Lane Crew,

Seeing your children back within our walls smiling, laughing, playing, connecting with old friends, and meeting new ones has truly filled my heart. I am proud of our students, staff, and you all for embracing our mission to empower excellence in character, achievement, and contribution to a better world.

This year we are celebrating Pine Lane’s 50th Year!  Our theme is “Grounded in our roots. Pine Lane Proud and to kick the year off next week is a spirit week.  We are going to walk through each decade. Monday will be 70s day, Tuesday the 80s, Wednesday the 90s, Thursday the 2000s, and then on Friday we will show we are Pine Lane Proud by wearing our Pine Lane Gear.  Hopefully, all of your children received a Pine Lane T-Shirt from their teacher.  We have additional Pine Lane Spirit Wear available at our school store: PLE School Store.  We have our 50th Anniversary logo available.  We hope to see tons of Pine Lane Gear proudly worn throughout the year.

As we get started with the school year, we need to finalize our School Accountability Committee (SAC).  We have one seat to decide upon.  I want to thank Eric Woldeit, Nate Ackerman, and James Cole for volunteering their time to serve in this capacity. We will hold a community vote during Back to School Night next week.  Please see more information about these SAC nominees here: PLE SAC Nominations. Our first SAC/PTO meeting will be Wednesday, August 31st all of you are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Back to School Night is next Thursday from 5:30-7:30 pm.  We hope to see you all there!

Thank you all for your help in getting our 50th year launched, especially with our dismissal process!  This will continue to get better and thank you for your patience and attention to our communications.

Have a great weekend!
