The student-created carnival is just a few days away!

Last change to order online or submit the form below that is included with the flyer is Tuesday May 2nd!

Almost 90 PLE students have been working hard on creating games and preparing prizes! We cannot wait to see you all on May 4th! We are hoping to raise over $3000 to support orphans in Ukraine who have been heavily impacted by the war.

We Hope you can join us for our Math & Literacy Night May 4th!

Families will be going to their upcoming grade level to receive information about what their child should know going into that grade. There will be activities for families during the evening to play with their child and more activities/ideas for summer.

We will continue to use PikMyKid as our dismissal app for next year.

Please make sure to have the app download, you have your default mode of pick up listed (this is how student is primarily dismissed) and are utilizing the calendar to make changes as needed.

Even if your student(s) ride the bus on a daily basis, it is important that you are familiar with PMK in the event of bus cancellations. Due to driver shortages we have had numerous cancellations this last year.

6th Grade End of Year Party

The end-of-the-year is quickly approaching, so that means it’s time to party! We will be having our 6th Grade celebration on Wednesday, May 24th from 1:20-3:00 to send off our elementary school big kids one last time.

If you are interested in helping plan this wonderful event, please reach out to your classroom teacher by Friday, April 21st so that we can get this party started!

We know that some of you may wish to come celebrate with us, and we welcome all party-goers! We are asking that each child contribute $5 to our party fund to cover food, drinks, and other goodies for our graduates. See the MySchoolBucks link here. Please know that if you and your family do plan to come, lunch will only be provided to our 6th Grade graduates.

Sierra Middle School

It is time to register for Taking Flight, Sierra's summer transition program!

No matter how your student feels about transitioning to middle school, Taking Flight is designed to calm anxiety and increase excitement. Make sure they have the opportunity to:

Become familiar with Sierra so they don't have to worry about getting lost
Meet teachers
Make new friends
Get their schedule early and find classes
Learn important success strategies for middle school
Have fun!

All Taking Flight students will also receive a fun Sierra t-shirt. Sessions only last 3 hours per day for 3 days. Click HERE to find a session that works for you. You must sign up from a computer, NOT a phone.
